Awesome Love!

For some of us Easter is a time of reflection.  An occasion when we take time out, from the hustle and bustle of our lives, to ponder on the greatest sacrifice of God on behalf of humankind. 

This excellent love is known as agape love which was, is and always will be so beautifully demonstrated through the death, burial and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ.  Agape love knows no boundaries, no height nor depth.  It is for the lovable, the not so lovable, the good, the bad, the kind, the unkind, the ugly, the beautiful – whosoever.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (St John Chapter 3 verses 16 & 17 – New Testament of the Bible).

O taste and see that the Lord is good: happy is the person that trusts in Him. (Psalms 34 verse 8 – Old Testament of the Bible)
