What do you? 

Said the night wind to the little lamb, do you see what I see?
Amidst the hustle and bustle of Christmas, the frantic buying, the endless queues – do you see what I see?

          Jesus standing at the door of your heart.

Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy, do you hear what I hear?
Have I forgotten someone on my list, can I accommodate everyone, have I bought enough food? – do you hear what I hear?

          His gentle tapping on that same door.

Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king, do you know what I know? Must remember to put up the Christmas Tree, Oh no, I don’t have enough decorations! I need to dutifully follow the Cake Book recipe; no-one will ever find out – do you know what I know?

          That He longs to be invited in.

Christmas (Christ mas) is about Him, the reason for His birth and the magnificent expression of a loving God.  Yet, He is often ignored and not invited to His celebration.

          What will YOU hear this Christmas?
